Janet Mohapi-Banks Sculpural Cake Design

During the class you will learn sugarcraft techniques used by the professionals such as piping, sugar modelling, working with buttercream and sugarpaste. Not all techniques will be taught in all classes.

By the end of the class you will be able to decorate cookies, cupcakes or miniature cakes to Janet's designs. All materials (except aprons) are provided along with 4 cookies or cupcakes and 2 miniature cakes for you to decorate. Additional cookies, cupcakes and miniature cakes are available upon request and charged at £3 per un-decorated cookie, £4 per un-decorated cupcake and £12 per miniature cake. Please order your additional cookies, cupcakes and miniature cakes at least one week prior to your class. Please note that un-decorated cookies and cupcakes are only available to when purchased with a class. The cookies, cupcakes or miniature cakes you have decorated will be boxed for you to take home.

All classes are 2 hours in duration and held at The Ebbisham Centre in Epsom. Although all the classes are stand-alone allowing students to come to as many or as few as they would like, each class will build upon the skills learnt in the previous class to offer a full course to those attending the class each month. The classes have been identified by theme as a good way of focusing the designs rather than as a measure of the skills taught.
